Cisco SMB Routers Comparison: RV100 vs. RV200 vs. RV300

Cisco SMB Routers Comparison: RV100 vs. RV200 vs. RV300

Small business network needs those compact, easy-to-use and cost-less devices. For this demand, many networking devices company provide SMB networking products, including Cisco.

Besides Cisco SMB Switches, there are Cisco SMB routers, the RV series.

Cisco Small Business RV Series Routers offer virtual private networking (VPN) technology, so the remote workers can connect to their company’s network through a secure Internet pathway.

Cisco SMB RV routers mainly provide three series: Cisco RV100 Series, Cisco RV200 series and Cisco RV300 series.

RV100 Series

RV100 can provide a flexible performance at an attractive price-point. The two RV160 models include the wireless RV160W and the wired-only RV160. Both models feature a very powerful Dual-Core CPU and a combination Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP)/Ethernet WAN.

RV200 Series

The RV200 series can provide a little more power than RV100. There are three models in this series, the RV260, RV260P, and RV260W. They provide a more powerful Dual-Core processor, Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) WAN, 8-port switch, web filtering, and a metal case.

RV300 Series

In SMB network, for premium performance, security and durability, choose the RV340 Series. The RV340, RV340W, RV345 and Power Over Ethernet (PoE) model, RV345P deliver a powerful Dual-Core CPU, Dual WAN ports, 4 or 16 Switch Ports, firewall, AnyConnect VPN, Web Filtering, Anti-Virus, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), and Cisco Umbrella.
